. We've been searching for our spare set but no luck. Tomorrow we will resort to other measures. When I have the camera back I will then be able to upload photos and attach them to a blog entry.
Beautiful pictures; thank you! It looks like everyone had fun.
You're welcome Maylynn. We had such fun. It was nice to get a chance to
have both Oliver and Eliza over. Ashley and Oliver seemed to really enjoy
the opportunity to play together again. It was like old times :)
Beautiful photo of the kids. They all look so happy. I love seeing kids
on bikes in the summertime. Brings back lots of memories. Looking forward
to seeing your photos after yoiu get your camera out of your car! Best of
luck finding your keys!
Thanks Amber. I know. I'm the same. I'm one of five siblings and I have
such memories of long days playing in the local fields near out house. No
adult supervision either :) Good news is I found the keys. Lying in bed
shortly after midnight it occurred to me two places I hadn't checked. I
found them in the second one. Went straight to the car, retrieved
everything and had a good night's sleep. The plus side is that my house is
much tidier and organized after the day of hunting yesterday. I wanted to
make sure everywhere we tried was in good order after the search so that I
wouldn't second guess if I might have missed them. It worked. Freed my
brain to focus on only places I hadn't yet checked :)
Wow, glad you found your keys! I am the least organized person I know, and
I often lose things/hide things from myself...strangely enough my hubby is
the same (what a pair we are ha ha!) and so I have a lot of empathy for
others who have to go through the frustration of trying to find things. I
really like your idea of tidying up and organizing while looking. Great
idea, I will try that the next time.
Amber, the hiding things from yourself made me laugh :) Finding the keys
caused such excitement with Caitlin yesterday morning. I had locked her new
little 12oz Kleen Kanteen in the boot of the car along with everything
else. I had it waiting on my nightstand when she came into our room first
thing. The sheer excitement seemed to wipe out the fact that losing the
keys resulted in a missed playdate for her on Monday. She had been so
disappointed, cried for about 20mins following the key fiasco once she
realized the implication, and tried to be so understanding :( Now I'm a
hero who is much loved because I found the keys and returned her treasured
water bottle. How quickly life changes...
Susan,
It looks like everyone had a lovely time! Hope you get your camera back
soon :) By the way, there's an award for you on my blog, I know I'm still
on a bit of a break, but wanted to pass a few on before I forgot again...
I'll be back in full swing in a week, playing a little catch up tonight
since I have a little time.
Hi Susan,
Hope everything is going ok... Back from my break and just checking up on
blogs I might have missed :)
