Go Fetch

Ashley and Caitlin received this Go Fetch card deck from a friend of Pauline's a couple of years ago. In recent months it has become one of their favorite games. It's the same game as Go Fish only themed on the Disney Lady and the Tramp movie, which we introduced to them last summer. The Lady and Tramp cards are the obvious favorites. The girls love to play this with me and James and it is great to have on hand when we go out anywhere that might require waiting. Last Monday Ashley had a day off school. We picked Caitlin up from school at lunchtime and set off for the local community center to play in the indoor gym. We brought a picnic lunch and various games (including our much loved Uno) for when the gym ended. After running around madly for about 45mins we then settled down for about another 45mins of game playing. It was a lot of fun.

By the way, I love Caitlin's layered look in this picture. She has on her long sleeve top, over which she has layered a tank top. She is wearing a pair of pajama bottoms, which she finds so comfortable she likes to wear them during the day rather than at night. Over her bottoms is a long skirt and over that is a favorite batik patchwork skirt. It's always fascinating to see their creativity when dressing themselves.
