An Irish Magic Tree House

We finished reading Day of the Dragon King last night, book #14 in The Magic Tree House series. Prior to that we read about Pompeii in Vacation Under the Volcano. Ashley and Caitlin were very interested in the the idea that a whole town was lost because it was covered with Ash from the Volcano. They also had a lot of fun with the idea of the Terracotta Army in China. The greatest excitement came at the end of Day of the Dragon King, when Morgan Le Fey (the enchantress in the story who owns the magic tree house) told Jack and Annie that their next adventure would take place in Ireland during the time of the Vikings. Cheers and whoops from Ashley and Caitlin, with Ashley proclaiming, "I love Ireland!" We are certainly having a lot of fun with this series.
